Product Description

Special Purpose Corrosion Preventive Compound for Wire Rope Protection.

DPL Supra® PROTECT - WR-RT has been developed to meet an extra-odinary requirement of wire rope protection from rust due to harsh conditions of the ambient and environment during its usage.

In-order to make the product application easy and penetrative, the technology used is Reverse Thixotropic with corrosion inhibitors and fillers.

Due to its Reverse Thixotropic nature, it provides an adequate uniform layer of compound on the wire rope, which prevents the wire rope from corrosion for a longer period of time. 



Applications:

DPL Supra® PROTECT - WR-RT is recommended for the protection of wire ropes, which are being used in offshore applications, wire ropes which are used in mining areas and other on-shore areas like crane ropes, etc, where conventional greasing is difficult & messy. It can be applied through a special brush applicator for uniform application or by brushing.

  • Corrosion Inhibitor Type: Protects from corrosion and improves wire life.
  • Lower Dripping/Leaking: Due to its Thixotropic behaviour,it offers good adhesion to the surface and reduces wastage during its application.
  • Visible Layer: Post application, the corrosion preventive compound layer will be visible.
  • Ease of Removal: Can be removed by conventional degressers or solvents.
