WEDOLiT EP 540 ES is a highly viscous, high-performance, ester and mineral-oil-based forming oil.

Applications:

The product has been developed to the highest technical standard for the utilization in the pipe industry (e.g. manufacturing of large diameter pipes, for gas and oil pipelines).

The product can be used undiluted and due to the high content of polar additives, prevents the stick-slip effect.

Properties:

• Very high film stability (even under high pressures).
• Good adhesion properties on smooth surfaces, very good wear protection.
• Easily removable with water (spontaneous emulsification).
• The emulsion can be used for pre and post-cleaning of the pipes and expander heads and can be easily separated into water and oily waste by utilising specific additives.
• Due to the unique easy-splitting technology, only a very small amount of the splitting media is needed. The treated water can be reused for the preparation of a new emulsion (to a certain degree).
